your comment! Yes, sometimes it may be useful to remind the team that they all
“wear the same jersey”, actually it might be even necessary to use this point
in a kick-off meeting after you used awards and public acknowledgement for
motivation. This kind of disarray should not cause a project to fail if you as
a project manager keep an eye on both your team productivity and their
community spirit.

I particularly like the part about motivating your internal team. I read a separate article reminding the team that they all “wear the same jersey”. I have found in my own projects that at the point of almost all high-pressure projects, the team can get to a point of stress and always forget this point. I actually may use this point in a kick-off meeting in the future! What are your thoughts? Do you experience the same disarray? Has it ever cause a project to fail?
